Vermentino prefers sunny, hilly and coastal soils: although not a native variety, Vermentino finds in Puglia – and in Salento in particular – a natural environment suitable for its cultivation. The vine, of medium vigor and regular productivity, gives a straw yellow wine with greenish reflections. The nose is fruity, floral, with strong mineral notes. On the palate it is dry, savory with a slightly bitter, fine and harmonious finish.
