Winery Chairman of Vecchia Torre since 2003

Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Milan in 1990, he obtained his professional qualification at the University of Bari.
Expert in phytopathology and agricultural entomology, natural sciences, earth sciences and microbiology, he is a professor of agronomy, plant breeding technique, agricultural economics and economics of food markets, at the agricultural “Lanoce-Maglie” since 2004.

Technical inspector of the hail sector for central and southern Italy, he is also an expert in financing for agriculture.
As president of Vecchia Torre, he implements an unprecedented innovation process in which technology and attention to roots fit together perfectly.

Together with the oenologist Ennio Cagnazzo he carries out the Quality Project with pertinacity, aiming at the enhancement of the native vines Primitivo and Negramaro and the specific characteristics of the Salento territory and the fruits of its vine. A work that brings into the spotlight the PDO and PGI, the strength of teamwork, the value of the economy of the territory in the territory and the need to grow through funding that exceeds 10 million euros.
