It is a black grape variety, with a medium-sized bunch and an elongated conical shape, present in Puglia and especially in Salento, in the Leccese and Brindisi varieties.
The grape is medium, spheroidal in shape with a consistent skin and fleshy and sweet pulp.
The wine has a bright ruby red color with intense and complex aromas. On the palate it is harmonious, velvety and at the same time alcoholic. If vinified in purity, Malvasia Nera di Lecce offers an ideal wine to be enjoyed at the end of a meal.
