Classification: Primitivo IGP SALENTO ROSSO.
Area of production: Leverano (Le)
Grape Varieties: 100% Primitivo.
Alchool content: 14,50% vol.
Type of soil: alluvial origin, moderatly loose-packed soil, rather calcareous.
Production per Ha: 7000 kg.
Training system: Spur cordon and alberate.
Vine density: 5000-6000 per Ha
Vinification: cluster selection, crushing and destemming. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C for 10-12 days. Then the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Cellar life: 4 years and more, depending of vintage.

Colour: deep red purple.
Bouquet: intense red ripe fruit flavour
Taste: Full, round with great body and structure
Serving Temperature: 16-18° C
Food pairings: excellent with roasts and grilled meat, game, and seasoned cheeses.
