The Malvasia Bianca is one of the aromatic variety of the big family of Malvasia vine. The leaf is medium-large and pentagonal; the cluster is medium, elongated, cylindric, semi-sparse and the berry is green-yellow, small, oval-shaped. It ripens in the early September and the wine is of a bright straw yellow with an intense and complex aromas. It is quite fresh and dry.
It is the main variety found in the following Apulian DOP: Barletta, Brindisi, Cacc’è Mitte di Lucera, Gravina, Leverano, Martina or Martina Franca, Squinzano and Terra d’Otranto.
